The rescue helicopter lands and my dad runs towards it, with me in his arms. A big slice of thigh is hanging loosely from my leg showing layers of meat, fat and veins. There is surprisingly little blood. I'm 7 years old and I just fell through a window.
Before I went to high school I was working as a carpenter, on becoming a rockstar and survived a planecrash. In my high school years I spent my vacations living either as a bum in the bigger cities in europe or snowboard in the winter.
Not knowing what to do after high school I joined the army and functioned as a sergent in an infantry patrol unit for a few years, went backpacking to Cambodia armed with an AK-47 and my camera photographed Angkor Wat, rockclimbed the limestonecliffs of Phranang and fell into a fishtank in Thailand and rode a motorbike through the Himalayas to the tibetan border from Nepal.
